Disciples of the Evening Cloth

Forms from out of the void.  This is the torpid emergence of an assembly of the living cult, congregating on the fringes of the light.  Assembled in the darkest of burrows beneath their structures and completely recondite.  This is the murky prelude to the negative liturgy, that in its introit undermines the very architecture by the forthcoming subterranean rite.

In a chthonian alcove the amplifiers are accumulated as the throng gathers around, heads hung, arms akimbo and faces obscured.  Anonymous they await the initiation of the throbbing modern altar to transform them into the disciples of the evening cloth.  A transformation delivered only to these penitent few whose observation is made vigilant by their willful prostration.  It is in full obedience to the pulse that threatens this profane chapel.  And to the void the figures return.
